How to update/delete primary email

Apologies if this has been asked before, I searched and could not find the answer.

How do I delete or update my primary email address in my account - profile - emails? I have added a secondary email address and have confirmed it but cannot promote it to be the primary.

I have the option to delete the secondary address, I do not have the option to delete the primary address. My primary address will stop working shortly, surely I can change this but the only option seems to be to create a new account. The 'email' page looks like this:

Email-------------------- verified -------- delete

Under email in my control panel I have a tick against the primary address under primary and nothing else on that line (nothing under verified, nothing under delete), I have a cross against delete on the secondary address and nothing else on that line, I do not have a 'Set as Primary' button anywhere.

WinXP, Firefox 2.0.0.7 and IE 7

OK ignore the below - I deleted and re-added the secondary email, was able to authorise it and now have the option to set as primary. Leaving the original message below in case it helps anyone else.

My account required my email to be re-authorised, which I did. The authorisation went to my primary email (the one which will cease working shortly).

I still do not have the option to make my secondary email my primary What I'm seeing is: the second email line is blank under 'verified' has a cross under 'delete' and is blank under 'primary'. There is no button to 'set as primary'.

There is now an option in your email to resend the verification email if an email hasn't been validated.
