curse profile / addon problem

Hey. I went in yesterday to update an addon and now I have lost all addons. It is saying failure to install. I uninstalled all curse items and reinstalled but same error box. Saying something about wow interface and need to install manually. I am not pc literate so any help would be appreciated. Also when sign into wow norm is an addon button on the bottom left that is no longer there. How do I get that back?

Uninstalling/Reinstalling an addon is nothing much that Deleting/Copying the addon folder to your World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\ directory, each addon has its own folder and that all you need do manually.
For a simple tutorial, curse provides on standard tut to each addon pages look on my addon page for example there http://www.curse.com/downloads/details/12253/ and on the middle of the screen click the Tab named "Install guide", all steps to understand how an addon is uninstalled or installed manually or with a program is well explained here. Then once you understand this you just have to go on curse , wowinterface etc any other dl site where you will download the addon you want in a Zip format which you'll extract in the folder mentionned above and that's installed, once you understand this you can try wowaceupdater , so far better to install addons.

ok i started a new folder named mymod under my wowinterface/addons.............ok i extracted the files curse profiler, qh and auctioneer, i did this one at a time. they show up under the folder .....but i still do not have an addon button on my character screen when i sigh on to wow. So im lost can u plz try and help me some more. Is it a problem for me to still have addons in my addon file or to have 2 interface files?Sorry for these questions but I am not a techie. Also i had never had to this b4 i had always used the curse client b4 and hadnt had problems until I went into update qh, so I dont know what has happened. Btw i use vista if that helps any.
